Violent Video Games Lawsuit U.S. District Judge Matthew Kennelly on Monday gave Gov. Rod Blagojevich and Attorney General Lisa Madigan until Dec. 18 to explain how they will pay $510,000 in attorneys' fees owed for a lawsuit they lost over restricting violent video game sales. Kennelly accused the government of "shoulder-shrugging and finger-pointing" in its responses to the plaintiffs' lawyers requests for payment. In Motion for Enforcement of Judgment, starting on page 9, are copies of e-mail correspondence between the plaintiffs' attorneys and the government over two months requesting payment. In Ruling on Payment, Kennelly uses harsh words and tells the government "the time for waffling has passed."
