Associated Press - Illinois

The Associated Press covers Illinois for a state and global audience, serving newspapers, broadcast stations and their Web sites.

 The operation is based in Chicago, with reporters in Springfield, Champaign and southern Illinois, bringing members and customers daily coverage and in-depth reporting on the state's top stories and its government, institutions and sports teams.

 AP photographers and contributing member newspapers provide breaking news and enterprise photojournalism. Chicago is home base to one of AP's team of video journalists covering top domestic stories.
